Together, we can save children!

Health and education are among the fundamental rights defined by the International Convention of Children's Rights. However, millions of children in the world are deprived of these rights. Chain of Hope, founded in 1988 by Professor Alain Deloche, has taken on the mission of repairing this injustice related to place of birth.
It helps with medical and surgical treatment for children whose country of birth cannot provide the human and technical means to heal them.
Chain of Hope thus permits seriously ill children to be saved by transferring them to France when the necessary resources are not available in their country and by operating in their home country during surgical visits.
In certain countries, hospital and surgical structures have been set up. Thanks to these missions and the training given to local medical teams, Chain of Hope transfers know-how and expertise, essential to give these countries the means to heal the children themselves. Three specialised hospitals have been opened in Cambodia, Mozambique and Afghanistan.
Chain of Hope is a group of international medical and surgical experts. It has the best specialists in cardiology, cardio-vascular surgery, orthopedics, paediatrics and neurosurgery.
It is also active in education by individual sponsorship of underprivileged children and setting up of school programmes.
Thaks to this chain of solidarity which mobilises volunteers, surgeons, doctors, nurses, foster families, sponsors, artists, donors and partner companies, more than 9 000 children have already had operations and nearly 20 000 have a place in school.
