Figurehead for The Marie Claire Rose
The second Marie Claire Rose establishes its status as a national charity event with 271 134 roses sold all over France. Thanks to the 405 345 euros collected in 2007, important charity missions have been financed and significant results obtained.
The charities have respectively received:
- 162 138, 13 euros for All at School (Toutes à l'école)
- 162 138, 13 euros for Unicef
- 66 117, 87 euros for the Marie Claire Rose / Rotary International scholarships
between 5-11 March 2007, 2nd event.

The Marie Claire Rose in brief...
The Marie Claire Rose is a charity event to finance schooling of underprivileged young girls all over the world which collects funds by selling roses for 3 euros, 1.50 euros of which is shared between three charitites:
- Unicef: renovation and construction of schools in Casamance (Senegal).
- Everyone to School (Toutes à l'école): construction of primary and secondary schools in Cambodia.
- Women's Education France: scholarships for young girls in France living below the poverty line who wish to go on to further education. The scholarships are managed by Rotary International.

The Marie Claire Rose is on sale between 5-11 March 2007 at florists, Caroll shops, Carrefour hypermarkets, Botanic shops and in bouquets in the Interflora network and on interflora.fr. Also, for the first time, in the Swiss branches of Caroll ready to wear shops.
