Between 3-9 March, the event the Marie Claire Rose enabled, once again, to make the general public sensitive to the need for schooling of young underprivileged girls throughout the world. 310 368 roses were sold in aid of the cause and 502 457 euros were so paid back to the profitable associations. The Marie Claire Rose is still the biggest event ever realized in aid of schooling of young girls and is essential as a first-rate charitable operation.
The 4th event will increase more over these promising results.

As education gives girls the chance to advance in the world, give the Marie Claire Rose!
Since 2006, the Marie Claire Rose has helped people to understand the need for schooling of young underprivileged girls throughout the world. By collecting funds through the sale of roses for 3 euro each, the Marie Claire Rose allows the financing of three important charities:
- In Cambodia, constuction of schools and schooling of 1 200 young girls by the charity All to School.
- In Benin, schooling of 1500 young girls by the charity ONG CARE France.
- In France, financing of secondary and university scholarships for young girls living below the poverty line. In collaboration with Rotary International.
The Marie Claire Rose will be sold between 3-9 March 2008 at the 5 400 florists of the Interflora network, Franprix shops, Caroll clothes shops in France and Switzerland, botanic shops, many independent florists and in the 20 Unibail-Rodamco shopping centres participating.
